Roy Buttermore is a considerate person reports Mrs. Griffith. He is aware of others needs and feelings and is respectful to these needs. Most students don’t express gratitude like Roy. He takes time to sincerely say thank you. Roy gives his best work. He does not turn in sloppy work. He proactively puts forth effort to be his best. Roy loves to learn. Everything he learns in science he gobbles up and wants more. He wants to be in class and he wants to grow. Ms. Frei expressed that Roy always stays to make sure her room is put back in good order before he leaves. He cleans up without complaining. He always works hard on his projects, striving for excellence. He is self-motivated when it comes to his sketchbook and always has something he is working on. Mrs. Stroupe added that Roy is fantastic! He is constantly looking for ways to help and make the world around him a better place. He has great attention to detail when working on projects and assignments. He is very perceptive about people and situations and looks for ways to lift others. He is very creative. He is currently working with a good friend to write a novel. He is one of the most genuine, grateful, and respectful students that I know. My hat is off to you Mr. Great American of the Week!!!
